haix, i tried damn hard for econs liao, and i expected at least a raw score of 30, alas, raw score 22, and aj econs moderate by multiplier of 1.5 !@#$%^& What the heck la, multiply alr still fail :(
i am still very against the idea of moderation, ok, i benefited in the past, but that's a minority. come on ppl. u know what moderation can do, O levels is alr a gd lesson to us, when the Chem and math A1 cutoff points were jacked up like crazy. and now, aj econs mod by 1.5, ok la, maybe passing rate was negligible, then so be it lor, it shld only serve as a lesson for us and make us reflect on our mistakes. come on, with moderation do u think u deserve the grade u get? maybe i'm saying these because i didn't benefit from moderation at all, fine, if i appear biased then ignore my comments, but overall, moderation just makes the A grade so not exclusive anymore. AJ moderate math marks by +6 (at least not multiplier) and the no. of As increase by like 5 times!!! (I think it's from 4 to about 20, maybe 16-20) If so, think about how the 4 ppl feel, when so many ppl got B promote to A, and make their hard work go to waste, ok, maybe i do sound biased again, cos i'm one of the 4 that got A, but i really felt that the value of A depreciated, 6 marks leh, that means 64 can get A alr, 6 marks out of 100 meant 12 marks out of the 2 papers combined, what the heck, so many marks, i really felt pissed
ok, lets calm down, the previous para seemed rather biased, but it's purely my view. but i really wonder if other schs moderate like how my sch does???
ok, i'm really taking my own swee time, i need to do work, ok, this post shall end now, shall continue soon :)
